Regulated Waste Transport

Asbestos waste is Category 2 regulated waste, it cannot travel in a skip bin or a borrowed tipper. It moves in lined, sealed loads, on licensed transport, with tracking records from gate to gate.

BrizPlant holds Environmental Authority P-EA-101205420 for ERA 57 regulated waste transport, and carts asbestos waste and contaminated soil from our own projects and for other licensed removalists, builders and consultants, with the dockets returned for your compliance file.

The Service

Cartage That Keeps Your Job Compliant

The removal is only as clean as the transport behind it. One unlined load can put a docket gap in an otherwise perfect job.

Asbestos Waste Cartage

Wrapped sheet, bagged friable waste and demolition ACM loaded from your site into lined trays, sealed and carted direct, no depots, no double handling.

Contaminated Soil Haulage

Bulk asbestos-impacted soil hauled in lined, tarped loads at excavation pace, keeping the machine digging instead of waiting on trucks.

Tracking & Documentation

Every movement travels with waste tracking, and disposal dockets come back to you, matched to loads, dates and the receiving facility.

Facility Coordination

We book the receiving facility, meet their acceptance requirements, and schedule loads so trucks are never queued at the gate at your expense.

Our Process

How a Waste Movement Runs

Four steps, whether it is one ute load of fencing or a fortnight of soil cartage.

1

Classify & book

Confirm the waste classification, volumes and packaging, then book the receiving facility and lock the cartage schedule to your programme.
2

Line & load

Trays are double-lined before arrival. Waste is loaded wrapped or wet, sealed and covered before the truck leaves the exclusion zone.
3

Transport under tracking

Loads travel direct to the authorised facility with waste-tracking records raised for every movement.
4

Dockets returned

Disposal dockets and tracking records come back matched to your job, ready for the clearance pack, the consultant or the auditor.
Compliance

Moving Waste Inside the Rules

Waste transport is where compliance is most visible to regulators, every load is a public, trackable event.

Asbestos waste is Category 2 regulated waste under Schedule 9 of the Environmental Protection Regulation 2019 (Qld).
Transporting regulated waste commercially is an environmentally relevant activity (ERA 57). BrizPlant holds Environmental Authority P-EA-101205420, granted for regulated waste transport within Queensland.
Loads are lined, sealed and covered, asbestos waste must not be compacted, tipped loose or mixed with general waste.
Waste tracking records are raised for regulated waste movements and retained with the disposal dockets.
Waste is delivered only to facilities licensed to accept asbestos, with disposal recorded at the gate.
Common Questions

Waste Transport FAQs

From builders, removalists and owners moving asbestos waste.

Can you cart waste from a removal we did ourselves?

Yes, we cart for other licensed removalists, builders and consultants. The waste needs to be packaged to acceptance standards; if it is not, we can repackage it on site before it moves.

What do we get back after disposal?

Disposal dockets from the receiving facility plus the waste-tracking records for each movement, matched to dates and loads. That bundle is what your clearance pack or audit trail needs.

How fast can a load move?

For packaged waste, usually within days, the constraint is facility booking, not trucks. Bulk soil cartage is scheduled against your excavation programme so the dig never waits.

Waste sitting on site that needs to move?

Tell us what it is, how it is packaged and where it is. We will book the facility and have it tracked and gone.
